What is acceptable behavior on the list?

Your participation in the Miyazaki Mailing List will be taken to imply agreement with and compliance with these guidelines. Violators will be warned, then removed from the mailing list if necessary. Overquoting Overquoting means quoting too much of someone else’s message when you reply to it. Please note the following guidelines: • It is almost NEVER necessary to quote the entire message to which you are replying. • Quote only the MINIMUM necessary to establish the context of your reply. • Try to paraphrase. That is, write a one-sentence summary of what the other person wrote. • Your text should not be shorter than the quoted part of the message you are replying to. • “Me, too” messages serve little purpose and are annoying.
