What is ACCA qualification and whether the said qualification is awarded by any University?
ACCA is the Membership in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK like CA of India and CPA of USA and is a professional qualification in the field of Accountancy, Auditing and Taxation. A student Member, after passing all the 14 papers in ACCA and attaining 3 years practical experience. This practical experience can be obtained before/during/after the course will be admitted as a Member to the membership of the Association. The Associate Member will be elevated as Fellow Member after attaining three years professional experience. ACCA is not a University Degree, but a Membership in the Professional Association approved by the British Royal Charter, providing special privileges and rights for betterment of profession in the UK as well as globally.
