Academic Probation is a sanction given to a student whose cumulative grade point average is below a 2.0 after having accumulated 24 credits. (Includes transfer credits). Students who have earned deficiency points will receive notification of Academic Probation on their semester grade reports. A student on Academic Probation at the end of the spring semester is not eligible for financial aid or housing for the following academic year unless deficiency points are eliminated through attendance in summer school. A student on Academic Probation cannot register for courses online and must meet with his/her advisor to register.
