What is Academic Probation/Disqualification?

0

When you are placed on Academic Probation, you will receive a letter from the Liberal Studies program which states that you must make an appointment with a program advisor by a specified date. Come to the Advising Center for Teaching Majors (ACTM; Lassen Hall 2008) to make an appointment. If you do not meet with an advisor by the given date, a registration hold will be placed and you will be unable to register until you come in for advising. When you come in to make your appointment, bring your letter or email that you received. After you have spoken to the advisor make sure Debbie at the reception desk notes that you have been in for advising. If a hold has been placed on your record, it will be removed at this point by the Liberal Studies program. Be sure that your GPA the next semester is over 2.0!
