Rapid Ride is a rapid bus service provided by ABQ RIDE. The Rapid Red Line runs every 10 minutes along an 11-mile route along Central Avenue from Unser to Wyoming, then north on Wyoming to the Uptown Shopping Center. The Rapid Blue Line connects Albuquerque’s West Side with the University of New Mexico campus. Signal priority systems allow drivers to hold a green signal or shorten a red signal light so that buses can move through traffic more quickly.
