The Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program is a form of insurance for commuters who regularly use alternative modes of transportration instead of a Single Occupancy Vehicle (SOV). The commuter must use an alternative mode of transportation to get to and from work or school at least three times a week. If the commuter meets these qualifications, they become eligible to resigter for the GRH program. When there is an unexpected emergency the GRH member is entitled to a free ride home from work or school.
