What is a/b testing?
This is the most common testing of several implementations of something. For example, you can conduct an A / B with different offers, texts, elements on the site, email templates, and so on.
This is most often used by the marketing Department when the team wants to test their theories, and choose the most effective option or implementation. For example, with the company Platinum Marketing – we often tested many theories for commercial projects to improve the % conversion rate on the site
A/B testing, also known as ‘split testing’ is a marketing term used to refer to the process of comparing different pages/sales copy to see how well they perform.
An example of A/B testing would be running a split email campaign in which you send a promotional email with two different subject lines to your mailing list. You can then compare CTR and open rate statistics to see which subject line performed better.
You can also perform A/B testing on your landing pages to see which landing page converts better. There are split testing tools on Clickfunnels and other similar software solutions that make this easy. You can find out more in this Clickfunnels review.
