AAMVA has created the Social Security On Line Verification application (SSOLV) in conjunction with SSA. SSOLV permits a jurisdiction’s motor vehicle agency to submit a real time inquiry to SSA to verify a driver’s SSN, Name and DOB. One of seven responses will be sent back by SSA, stating what data has been verified.
