What is a Yellow Line Dispensation?

0

A yellow line dispensation allows people carrying out works or services to premises within Westminster to park on a single yellow line (or double yellow lines in certain cases). A dispensation will only be granted where the vehicle needs to park as close as possible to the premises and where alternative parking is not available. They are generally not for use on areas with a loading ban (usually indicated by markings on the pavement kerb). If you need to park your vehicle on yellow lines with a loading ban (indicated by kerb marks on the pavement kerb), a Special Permission Dispensation may be granted, but only in exceptional circumstances. Please see question 13 for more information.
