What is a wetland delineation?
The Department of Environmental Protection and private environmental consultants conduct wetland delineations. We also offer wetland delineation services. The fees are based on the size of the property. Wetland delineations are simply the act of establishing the boundary between wetlands and uplands (or non-wetlands). Your property will be evaluated for the presence of wetlands based upon three general criteria: wetland vegetation, hydric soils and hydrology. If you would like to request additional information regarding a wetland delineation, please contact the Natural Resources Management Office at (321) 633-2016.
