What is a webcam and are they secure?
A webcam is an IP camera that is accessible from the Internet. I think I forgot to mention that almost all IP cameras have security features built into them. If these are not configured properly, you might inadvertently be allowing strangers to observe your video stream. If you want to see the cameras at your business while relaxing at the beach, it is less expensive to connect them to a DVR which has a built in ‘webserver’ and much better security!
