What is a web server log?
Adjuvance maintains web server logs that record data about visitors to our website. No personally identifiable information is recorded in our logs. Web server logs contain the following information: • Date and time of visit • Pages viewed during a specific visit • Type or brand of browser • Web site visited immediately prior to visiting Adjuvance’s site • IP address of the computer used to access our web site (An IP address is assigned to your computer whenever you connect to the Internet. The IP address is given to the different web servers as you enter that website in order to identify your computer for that visit. The IP address is different each time a user shuts down the computer, restarts, and then visits the website again.) We do not use web server logs to discern or identify individuals, except if required by law. Instead, we use web server logs to analyze traffic, to help improve our website, and to reach new and potential applicants for our clinical trials. How will I know if
