What is a WAV and how do I create one?
WAV files are large files that can be played on most any computer or CD player. The WAV format is larger because it is “lossless,” meaning it does not compress or discard any of the sound information. We recommend you set your ripping software to rip into the WAV format directly. You can also search the Internet for WAV converters, there are thousands, however we do not recommend converting from low-bit rate, “lossy” formats (such as 128 mbs or less MP3s) for the purposes of digital distribution.
