What is a Watercraft Technician?
Watercraft Technicians inspect and repair all types of marine vehicles, including boats, large ships and jet skis. Depending on the size of the vessel, a Watercraft Technician may work in a repair shop or at a marina or dock. Watercraft Technicians use both hand and power tools to repair components such as engines, propellers and fuel systems. Overtime is common for Watercraft Technicians during warmer months, but business tends to be slow in winter.
