It is like bookmarks. That is where you can save questions you want to look at later, or there are some good answers you like and want to keep them. Questions will remain in your Watchlist until you choose to remove them. If their status changes from open to voting to resolved, you will notice this as well. Your personal Watchlist is completely private, no one else can see it if (s)he goes to your profile page. People use them for different reasons. Here are a few: – Keep track of an interesting question that you want to learn the answer to – Easy access to a question and/or answer that has useful info (e.g. new knowledge, a website) – Easy access to a person – some people like to be able to easily contact their friends; others like certain users’ questions, so they want to find more of them; others may track “suspicious” activity to see if a user is suspended, etc. – Easy access to a question they answered – to see who wins best answer and/or easily vote on it.
