What is a VPS account?
A VPS (virtual private server) is a “virtual computer” that runs on the Internet 24/7. This VPS uses the Windows Server 2003 operating system and works very similarily to Windows XP. When you access this VPS from your personal computer (or any other computer), you can use the VPS just like a normal computer. The VPS has Internet Explorer, a Start menu, system tray with clock, etc., just like a computer. On this VPS you will run software (such as Metatrader 4) that needs to run 24/7 without interruption. The primary purpose of a VPS account is to give you a 24/7 “computer” that is always on, always accessible, extremely stable, and not dependent on your personal computer’s condition or Internet connection.
