What is a virulent virus?
The definition of a ‘virulent virus’ would be one in which is considered severe in nature. Some of the criteria would be fatality probability, ability of virus to evade host defenses, evolution of disease from one host to another. You can also have virulent bacteria as well… and as we all know a viral infection is different than a bacterial infection (which is why they will not perscribe anti-biotics when you have a flu).
