What is a virtual poster?
A virtual poster is a 5 minute poster presentation that has been recorded and is intended to be played without a live presenter. If space and facilities permit, virtual posters will be played on a large display during the regular poster sessions. Virtual posters will also become part of the video record of PyCon and will be posted on the web. We realize that not everyone can travel to PyCon, so virtual posters are a way to present without actually attending PyCon. Virtual posters may be particularly attractive to secondary educators and their students as a way to share their explorations of Python. In general, the same guidelines and suggestions apply to virtual posters as to live poster presentations. Virtual posters will be reviewed and accepted independently from live posters.
