What is a “vestee” and how does vesting work?
A “vestee” is an employee with five or more years of service, or ten years or more of service for CSEA employees hired after August 22, 2003, whose employment terminates, and who continues his or her health insurance coverage with the county even if the employee has not yet reached retirement age.
