What is a “Venture”?
“Venture” is a term created by VISCO as a way to describe an inbound shipment of a product. For example, you order 50 drums of Glycerinand 50 bags of red pigment from a Chinese supplier. The entire order is then loaded on to a container. Each of those products within the shipment will be considered “ventures” as they will have their own unique financial, logistic, and document information.
