What is a Vendor ID and when is one necessary?
If a Plan Sponsor wishes to submit Early Retiree Lists and/or Claim Lists to the ERRP Center via mainframe, and/or receive response files via mainframe, then a Vendor ID will need to be established for the connection. Vendor IDs are assigned by the ERRP Center. Vendors must contact the ERRP Center to establish an ERRP Vendor ID. If a vendor has a Retiree Drug Subsidy Program Vendor ID, they still need to contact the ERRP Center to establish an ERRP Vendor ID.
