In the center backs of our Freedom series internals there is a ladder of web rungs that allows you to move the shoulder straps to the perfect torso length for you. The shoulder straps use Velcro to overlap the web rungs both at the top and bottom of the attachment point, allowing it to be much more stable than a single attachment point. If you cover the gray web rungs when adjusting you may want to consider the next pack size up or down. The Velcro torso ladder is a time-tested, simple and rugged system that gets the job done.
