What is a Vehicle Sticker?
A vehicle sticker (also called a “Village Sticker”) is a small square windshield sticker that is placed in the bottom corner of the passenger side of your vehicle’s windshield. Vehicle stickers are sold by the Village and need to be renewed each year. They are different than a license plate sticker which is placed on your vehicle’s license plate each year. License Plate stickers can be purchased from the Illinois Secretary of State or from a Currency Exchange location. Failure to have a Village sticker on your vehicle when you need one subjects you to being ticketed.
