What is a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)?
This is the vehicle identification number (VIN) of your vehicle. This number is usually found on the dashboard of your vehicle on the driver’s side, and is usually listed on the vehicle registration and title. The VIN number is a combination of letters and numbers 17 characters in length that can be used to identify the make, model, and year of your car.
The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a unique number assigned by the manufacturer to a vehicle, trailer, or manufactured home for purposes of identification. Most vehicles have a 17-character VIN containing both letters and numbers (ex. 1DAUY19H9SLA23318). You must have a valid VIN to use the online AVP.
