What is a valid reason not to vote?

0

A valid reason is not having a preference and not wanting a vote placed only to avoid a fine to have the same weight as a vote placed by a person desparately loyal to a cause or canditate.

Really there is no valid reason because everyone who has the opportunity to vote should. In some countries certain people especially women are not allowed to vote and that is unfair. Here in America, women, African Americans, and other minorities have had to go through a lot in history so they could get the chance to vote. Voting is your chance to participate and let the government know how you feel about certain things. However, you could try to use religion but you must be able to back up your reason so you should research it before you use that excuse. No one can really answer this question for you unless you can answer this question. Why do you wish not to vote?
