What is a typical first-year schedule like?
As a first-year full-time student you will have 3 classes each quarter and 16 hours of field placement spread over 2 days. Classes will be on Mondays and Wednesdays at SSA and on Tuesdays and Thursdays you will be in your field placement. Most of your Fridays will be free. Part-time evening (EEP) students take 2 classes each quarter on Monday and Wednesday evenings and are in the field Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for a total of 8 hours per week. EEP students spend 1.5 years in their first field placement and 1.5 years in their second field placement.
