WHAT IS A TYPICAL FAITH FELLOWSHIP SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE LIKE?
A. We begin gathering at 9:45. From 9:45 to 10:00 our people fellowship. We greet one another and welcome our guests. At 10:00 we move into the formal worship time (in the cafeteria) to begin our service. We begin with prayer and confession. After our prayer time, we sing our opening song. After our opening song (we use a variety of songs, but mostly hymns with a smattering of newer songs, all chosen based on theological content, not style), we have testimony time. Then a couple more songs. After that, scripture reading and a re-capping of last weeks message. Then the sermon. After the sermon we take we have a time of family prayer and confession. This is a time to prepare our hearts before we partake of the Lord’s supper (every week). Then we take the Lord’s Supper (open to all baptized believers in good standing with their local church).
