What is a typical day on the boat?
• Jonathan: A typical day on the boat: in the morning we have school but on Saturdays and Sundays we can sometimes have car excursions or something else and that is very fun. We have rented cars on the islands Madeira, Lanzarote and Tenerife. After school we play with friends from other boats (kids) or go grocery shopping. We are often in a harbor. We are sailing every or every other week. 2. What do you do for fun on the boat? • Jessica: When we do not sail (when we are in a marina) we play with other boat- friends. We play games and have sleep-overs on our boats. Last time we had sleep- over, I was on Regina (our boat) whit Emma from a Canadian boat. Jonathan was on the Canadian boat. Emma and I played Mastermind before we went to sleep. It was fun! Sometimes we make bracelets and necklaces whit beads. We often make it with the Canadian boat. In the evenings (sometimes) we watch DVD’s. We do not have a TV. When we are on Regina when we are at anchor we sailed optimist one day. It was
