What is a typical camp day like at Rolling Hills Day Camp?
Each camp day runs from 9 am – 4 pm. Staff members arrive between 8:30 and 8:45 and may leave following the campers at 4:00. Rolling Hills is a highly organized and structured camp. Everyone follows a schedule which covers the four main program areas of camp: swim, adventure, art and athletics. Our program is designed to expose our campers to a wide variety of new activities and to provide proper instruction in them. Each age at Rolling Hills is treated differently. Campers entering second grade and older are able to personalize their program. Our elective program allows campers to make choices and focus on activities that are more important to them. It also allows campers from different groups to mix, without taking away from our core belief of being a “group centric” camp.
