What is a truck cap?
A truck cap is a structure that fits over the top of a truck bed. It provides protection from the weather and also gives security to items placed in the bed. There are many types of caps. One may get what is commonly called a “topper” which is a high-standing cap that allows the driver to place material of greater height inside the truck bed. A tonneau cover is a cap that lies flat on the bed rails of a pickup providing protection for all equipment.
