What is a TripIt “Connection”?
A Connection in TripIt is someone with whom you want to share information about yourself and your travels, on a continual basis. Your Connections will automatically be able to see a list of the destinations associated with your TripIt itineraries, and you can see the same for your Connections. Click on MyNetwork to see a list of your Connections and their travel plans. You can also click the Calendar tab within MyNetwork to see this information in a convenient calendar format. Your Connections will also be able to view any of your profile information set to “Everyone” or “My TripIt Network.” To change the profile information displayed to your Connections, visit Profile and Privacy. You can easily find out when your travel plans overlap with your Connections by using the Who’s Close feature. This is great for knowing if you might be in the same place at the same time as one of your Connections. Then, you can meet-up during your trips or when your Connections are coming through your home
