What is a trip fee?

0

A $20 trip fee is charged to recover a portion of the cost associated with reading a meter if a meter reading is not sent in on time. The fee also helps recover a portion of the cost for personnel to make collection trips. Lake Country Power dispatches service personnel if we haven’t received meter readings in required time frames. Even if little or no electricity is used, members still must provide a meter reading.
