Transfer bonds are bonds that are approved by the Sheriff of the county in which property is located. A transfer bond may be approved for a property owner in Carroll County to post bond in another county in Georgia or it may be from the Sheriff of another county in Georgia for an individual detained in the Carroll County Jail.
