A trampoline safety enclosure (often known as a safety net) is manufactured with polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or polyester for short. Polyester is a lightweight and durable material making it an ideal choice for trampoline manufacturers. The enclosure gets installed around the mat of an outdoor trampoline (such as a 15’ round or Oval trampoline). The idea of a safety enclosure is to stop children falling off the trampoline, which could of course lead to injury.
