What is a TRAC?

0

TRAC stands for “Time for Reflection and Connection.” A child will receive a TRAC from a teacher if she breaks one of our rules such as being out of uniform, being late to class, or chewing gum. She will serve the TRAC after school on either Monday or Thursday from 3:15-3:45 p.m. under the supervision of one of the middle-school teachers. If a child receives three TRACs she is given an hour-long, after-school detention. Parents are not notified about TRACs, but they are told if their child is given a detention.
