TLC (3 bit/cell) NAND Flash owns the low-cost advantage compared with MLC (2-bit/cell) based on the same NAND Flash process technology; however, the performance & reliability of MLC is better than TLC. Currently TLC NAND Flash is mainly used in low-cost memory card and UFD applications.
