What is a timeshare Property Owners’ Association?
A property owners’ association (“POA”) is an association created to manage the affairs of the timeshare resort. The POA is governed by a Board of Directors who are elected by the member/property owners at annual meetings. The POA Board of Directors will typically hire a management company to perform all maintenance and management activities at the site of the resort.
