What is a tight tank and how often is it pumped?
A tight tank is basically just a holding tank for all your septic and wastewater. Once it gets full, an alarm goes off and it needs to be pumped out. A household with 2-3 people in it who watch their water usage with need to have their tight tank pumped about every 6-8 weeks. This is without a washing machine going into the tank.
