What is a TFP or TFCD shoot?
TFP (Time-for-Print) shoots, or TFCD (Time-for-CD) shoots result from an agreement between a photographer and a subject. In exchange for his/her time, he/she is given a set of selected images from the shoot. This helps both parties to build their photographic portfolios without a large investment of money. In a typical TFCD shoot, the photographer retains all legal rights to any images made during the shoot. The model can display them for self-promotion but cannot sell them and must always include appropriate copyright information. We do limited TFCD shoots at Michael Land Photography & Graphics, often when trying out new equipment or ideas. We accept these shoots on a case-by-case basis if we believe they will be beneficial to both the model and to us. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with your ideas if you’d be interested in a TFCD shoot.
