What is a temporary building (as per Building Commission Victoria)?
A building that is only intended to be located on a site for a temporary basis not exceeding 12 months or until rebuilding is complete, after which it must be removed. A building that can be easily transported and removed from a site within 24 hours. Must not have permanent footings. Method of ground support may be via a proprietary or engineer designed system, such as above ground concrete blocks, masonry pads, screw piles etc.
