TDA stands for Tax Deferred Annuity and is governed by the section of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 403(b), commonly referred to as a 403(b) plan. Employees of non profit 501(c) tax exempt organizations, higher education institutions, and public schools are eligible to tax defer income under this plan for additional retirement savings.
