What is a talent agency? How does it work?
American Talent Agency is a full-service talent boutique that books mainly hip hop artists for concert and tour dates. Buyers (sometimes Promoters, sometimes lottery winners) contact the Agency to inquire about hiring artists to perform. A contract is then drawn up between the artist (the who) and the promoter, agreeing to the date(the when), venue (the where) and guarantee (the $$) for the event. It is our job to send contracts, technical information and riders to the promoters so they can organize publicity and additional show preparations. Can I intern at ATA?
