What is a Supplier Risk Score?
The Supplier Risk score predicts the likelihood of a firm ceasing business without paying all creditors in full or reorganizing or obtaining relief from creditors under state/federal law over the next 12 months. The rating is derived from D&B’s Financial Stress Score that is calculated using a statistically valid model derived from D&B’s extensive data files. Financial Stress Score percentile is the basis for the SER Rating. Once the Financial Stress Score percentile has been calculated for a business, a secondary set of rules applied to determine the SER Rating.
