Each school board shall board shall employ at least one competent, qualified, and certified supervisor of child welfare and attendance. Such Supervisors of Child Welfare and Attendance shall posses the certification from the LA: Department of Education. The Supervisor of Child Welfare and Attendance may visit the residence of a student or any other place to ensure that a student is in attendance during the hours of the school day. They have the authority to serve such writs and process in law relating to compulsory attendance as may be necessary for the enforcement.
