What is a successful project?
Since every project has an element of “newness” about it there will be risks and difficulties to be surmounted. These require decisions and possibly trade-offs between competing project objectives such as cost and time, but in the last analysis, the successful project is one which satisfies the client and the stakeholders, and is seen to do so in its most important dimension, quality. Quality is defined as conformance to requirements.
