What is a subluxation and why does it matter?
Misalignment of the spinal column segment that causes nerve interference is called a vertebral subluxation. Subluxations disrupt the normal function of the nervous system, reducing the brain’s ability to integrate the tissues supplied by the damaged nerve with the rest of the body. This condition may begin as localized back pain, but if allowed to persist, can manifest in organic dysfunction. In other words, today’s pain can become tomorrow’s illness.
