What is a Student Learning Log?

• You will enter the hours that you serve on your Student Service Learning Log. This log can be downloaded, or you can get a copy from the Career Center at your school. • You will have the adult in charge of your actual service project (at school or in the community) sign and verify the hours you have entered. If an agency gives you a time card (like Goodwill Industries), this can be attached to the log and a second signature is not needed. • The logs will be taken to the Career Center when a project is complete or on due dates before the end of the semester. Even if you are involved in an ongoing project, your log should be turned in on posted due dates so your completed hours can appear on your semester progress report. Listen for announcements or postings on due dates. • You must complete the questions on the back or second page of your log before you turn it in. Please do not bring incomplete logs to the Career Center. • Make sure all hours completed during a school term are turned
