What is a stream (Audio/Video/Media)?
The term “stream” refers to the simultaneous transfer of digital media (video, audio, and data) that is received in real time. This means that you do not have to wait for all the files to download as it will start playing as soon as it has received enough content (known as buffering) to start the media player. Streaming is a technique for transferring data such that it can be processed as a steady and continuous stream.
