What is a SSID and what should mine be set too?
Answer 1 : The SSID is a name that is used by the wireless card to talk to the network. This is similar to a normal conversation, if your name is spoken to you listen and participate in the conversation. If someone elses name is spoken to then you may or may not listen. The SIUC Campus has set a few names to be consistent all across campus. They are listed below.
