What is a “Special Consideration” Applicant?
Special Consideration applicants are required to complete the minimum two full years of university work, the prerequisite course requirements, and the MCAT requirements. Applicants who feel they have exceptional circumstances, for which the MD Admissions Special Consideration Committee may give them Special Consideration, must write a formal signed letter which is faxed or post-marked by November 1st, outlining their circumstances, providing full supportive documents and indicating how their special circumstances impact their medicine application. Please be advised that, electronic submission of letters and documents will NOT be accepted.
